Dear Barry and cj
Regarding Question 3, I came across a reference to Brown in a book I have had for many years:

“Brown - An important colour for improving your ability to organize your material world. Should be worn as clothing rather than put into the energy field. The same is true of beige and tan, which help you organize on the mental plane.”
From “Companions in Spirit” by Laeh Maggie Garfield (1984)

Thank you all for the beautiful comments. Cj, you triggered the whole timing of the interview series with your email about teal and brown, it had been unmanifested as an idea but perhaps it needed the brown to be earthed. Barry, please give Flo our love and tell her that her mandala was most memorable! And Sarah it is amazing that the birth chart mandala only just now came into awareness. Maybe it has been dormant all that time. When I first had the mandala, someone came to view, looked directly at it and didn’t see it, so there is something in what Barry says.
Love

Thank you Barry and Lana for addressing the question of brown. This came about one morning when I was very drawn to teal and brown and went to the aura-soma site to see how they explained the color. No brown!

Oddly enough, brown is a color I used to find--well, for lack of a better word--boring. But it's not. It's actually soothing and can be incredibly lush.

This was a wonderful interview as I have a great fondness for mandalas. I enjoyed it so much.

Good to read your comments Sarah and be reminded of the collective creative energy we have all shared over the years at Flick's. Apparently Flo (sister of Netia) whom you will remember from a few years ago (maybe 2005) will be staying in Pembrokeshire not far away next week so might get to see her and catch up with her news. Love. Barry

Thank you Barry for such an indepth discussion. I've had my mind broadened. I visit Lana at her home from time to time and always absorb energy from her wonderful painting of The LightGrid Mandala. Last week I found my attention diverted to a beautiful Mandala painting that I recognised as a Birth Chart. Lana explained it was the one she had commissioned from you for her, and was in it's usual place. I can confirm it glows. Love Sarah.
