I don't mind at all having a week to settle down in. The end of 2009 was a flurry of craziness, in the case of one patient literally so. But things here - patients, weather, dogs - seem to be taking a collective deep breath and letting go of the vestiges of whatever it was that drove 2009. Happy New Year Lana, and wishes that this will be the amazing beginning to an amazing next career life. And Flick, I wish for you a forest of Russian Castles, but not more than you can happily transverse on that horse. Please let us know about the baby, Sarah, and a very happy New Year to you and your family. For myself, I'm basking in the beauty of California with one eye to the seismograph and enjoying the emptiness of possibilities this year is offering. *hugs* Dia

Despite the New Year not being an astrological marker, this is your first blog in 2010 (and for me that is twenty-ten), so setting the bench mark. For me, there are several family birthdays about, and the awaited day of birth of the youngest to be in the family. I'll take a note about the writing, as she is due any time. Meanwhile I am in a happy haze of well being, but perhaps marking time for bursts of activity, either way, thanks Lana for paving this new decade with next insights, love Sarah.

as I came to dine and feast on your blog I was berating myself for having time off and not being able to focus to do ANYTHING.... not even read! I am hoping now, having read your blog I will be able to at least get my accounts done over the next few days but maybe I need a clear out and up today to do it! I'm looking forward to Russian Castles (my metaphor for great things) occuring in my life this year.... Brunhilde needs to get back on the horse! Happy new year Lana!!! May this first one in your new work life be spectacularly profound! love Flick :-)
