I'd love to hear about any special conjunctions she may have. As to her story, yes she has one. Through the magic of frozen semen, she is the neice of my beloved dog Jade. Although I wasn't sure I was ready to get another Sheperd of this type (she's a Shiloh Shepherd, not sure if any have made it to England yet), I was prowling the 'net one day, looking for photos of Jade's sire and dam when I came across this announcement that her sire's semen had been used successfully to breed a litter in 2008. And it turned out one of the girls from that litter was owned by a woman I'd been close to years ago but had lost touch with. And then it turned out that girl was pregnant. AND the sire is descended from my second favourite line in the breed. At this point, how could I NOT contact my friend and see if the girls were all spoken for (we're an only female canine household. Cats can be both, dogs are onlyl girls). Oh, and to top that off, my vet is the one who named Phoenix when she examining my other dog in January (a tiny Pomeranian named Dragon). She looked up at me and said "How are Dragon and Phoenix getting along?" Then she looked very confused and said "Do you have a Phoenix?" I didn't. So all the signs were pretty much NEON and pointing to this little girl coming from the frozen wastes of Canada to bask in the sunshine of Southern California.
